James is a highly experienced carpenter and builder with over 20 years in the industry. He began his career studying Carpentry & Joinery at Ashley Down College in Bristol before completing a five-year apprenticeship in Bath, working extensively on listed buildings and heritage projects. He later spent two years travelling the country as a shop fitter, refining his precision and commercial installation skills. James went on to specialise in loft conversions and general renovations, and at 30 founded his own building company, which he has successfully run for the past 12 years. His work is defined by quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering reliable, professional results.

Nick brings over 25 years of experience across carpentry, joinery, and general building, working on everything from commercial and retail refurbishments to full domestic property renovations. His background includes loft conversions, extensions, and even specialist set construction - most notably contributing to the mock street and shop builds on the Casualty production set in Cardiff. While highly capable across all aspects of the trade, Nick’s particular strength lies in precision work such as kitchens, wardrobes, and detailed interior finishes, where his commitment to quality is evident in every project. He prides himself on maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship with clients to ensure the final result reflects exactly what they envisioned, and he never considers a job complete until the standard meets his own exacting expectations.
